I'm happy with that, one of those games either team could have won. A good haul over the next 2 will make it look better

We’ll massively improve as Warne gets the players he needs in my opinion

Can see the improvement already, we look fitter and play quicker

But we lack something at the minute, 2 or 3 in to shore us up for a playoff tilt, should we go up through the playoffs great but the summer is where we’ll some action once this embargo ends. We’ll be pushing for either top 6 in the Championship next season or going up automatically in league 1.

    0-0 about sums it up

We missed McGoldrick, but there were players actually there who were just as absent IMO. Hourahan, Bird, both ineffective, I think Smith needs a chance in MF. Collins wasn't cutting it from early doors and looks awful when any pace is required. Barkhuizen's touch has deserted him

And despite the ridicule I got for pointing it out last time, a throw-in is possession. We seem clueless about how to retain that possession, we are worst in the division of teams I've seen live, we might as well just place the ball on the line for the oppo to take it. If you don't believe my observation, replay the game, if you don't think it matters maybe I'm not the most tactically inept poster here

Good points, defence as solid as ever, Wildsmith in the right place twice to make potential tricky saves look routine. Thank God we don't have their keeper!

Warne mentioned in his post match interview that Sibley needs to make better decisions when receiving the ball back from a throw in.
A clean sheet though, and we just keep accruing points, so pleased on that basis.

    Think that’s absolutely right.

What we’re missing is whatever Hourihane and Barkhuizen are meant to provide...because they really didn’t today. On the plus side, Forsyth and Cashin men of the match imo...and the rest of the defence were superb.

Good support in bloomin’ ‘orrible conditions. Beat Cambridge and we’ll be very handily placed for 2023.

Is that nine unbeaten, three wins and six draws??
Bolton at home are a tough nut to crack so a draw is not too bad but we do need to turn more of the draws into wins in order to cement a top six spot. However, when McGoldrick is out, that is always going to be difficult especially against the better teams as, without him, no one upfront can hold onto the ball long enough for the attack to develop more effectively. Let's face it, the moment he gets the ball he scares the poo out of defenders at this level! No, without him a draw at Bolton ain't to be sneezed at!

Only defeat in 13 was the penalty shoot out at Anfield. Too many draws though and not enough wins.

That Bolton game was awful. The 2 managers know each other well. Both set up to counter the other's hustle and bustle to the extent that both sides forgot that they are allowed to put their foot on the ball and bring some composure in. Other L1 fans called it hoofball and it was. A draw was the right result IMO. They had the better of possession, 53-47. Shots were 9-11 in our favour. Both sides managed 2 on target, their 2nd coming with the very last kick of the game. Poor football from both sides. However, it was full of endeavour but way too frantic. Lots to satisfy the neutral apart from the lack of goal attempts. I blame the 2 managers for concentrating too much on the opposition and not enough on themselves.

DCFCA showed yet again how out of touch he is with the situation at Derby. He posted "the summer is where we’ll some action once this embargo ends". First, it's not an embargo, it's a 2 year business plan written by DCFC and agreed to by the EFL. Secondly, it's a 2 year plan so we can't pay transfer, loan or agent's fees in the next 3 windows. That's Jan 23, summer 23 and Jan 24. If you're pinning your hopes on summer buys you're barking up the wrong tree DCFCA.
