    A new era hopefully

Great scenes after the final whistle. For the first time in a long time the players were all smiling, kaughin6and hugging each other.

Even Diego Costa cracked a smile.

Loved the way Lopetegui wasn't content with the draw, his substitutions were positive and one set up the other.

First time in a very long time I've felt there may be light at the end of the tunnel.

You’re right, I think we’ve been in slow decline since the Sevilla quarter final.

I’m happy with the win of course but I’m concerned about the quality and suitability of this squad to the prem. Whoever JL brings in this window needs to have an instant impact if we’re to stay up, anything over forty points will be a massive success in my opinion.

The win yesterday was not only a valuable three points, but we were the only team in the bottom ten sides to gain three points. Leeds, who are also in the mix, have Man City tomorrow so we need to be rooting for the blue half of Manchester.

It is a long way to go yet to be out of the woods, but we are now only seven points behind Brentford who are in tenth place at the moment.
