Not wishing to sound overly melodramatic, but in the world of the big cats, when the pride is taken over by a new head male, he makes it his business to kill the offspring of the previous head of the pride, so your observation might not be so far from the truth?

For me the real issue is the whole* FA Academy set-up with young players.

Understand that system & its operating controversy & you'll get a clearer picture of why so many young players get cleared out & often end up injury prone with mental health issues.

    Controversy ?

If we are relegated after this transfer window then the blame lays squarely on Ted.

WHU, Everton, Wolves and Lecister basically did nothing positive. Southhampton added a player or two.

Unfortunately forest added quite a bit and they have a better coach so they are going to be out of the relegation battle. Unfortunate we caught them after they beefed up their squad and started believing in themselves. Could see 3 losses in a row coming out of the next 3 games. we didn't get any favors from the schedule makers this year.

Think WHU will start to pull away now - they have a very good squad of players and Ings should knock a few in.

Wolves, Southampton, Everton and Bournemouth and the ones we need to stay ahead of.

With the pool of players we have now, we should not be looking for 3 teams worse. We should be looking at mid table plus.

With the money flowing around ER now you'd think we could now afford a decent staff photographer - as some other Forum jester joked "the welcome McKennie pic" looked like the A Weekend with Bernie movie poster.

    some other great news.

we kept Harrison and Cresswell and looks like Drameh is going to be a key player for Luton.

Best transfer window I've ever experienced with Leeds.

Luton is playing for promotion so he's going to be tested
