    Leeds United transfer rumours....

It's that time of the Year again so lets have a thread dedicated to transfer rumours - not fairy tales

    Here goes then:
Leeds United have now opened talks to sign RB Salzburg’s Maximilian Wober, according to Football Insider.

CB whos also plays as LB contributing to seven goals in 16 games from that position so far this season.

One of the areas we've done well at is signing yanks. Adams may be our best all around field player and Aaronson has held his own. They are both prem level players.

I hope they sign Kai Wagner. I'd like to see a pure Left Back. Strujik and Wober are good but they aren't Left Backs.

Like to see us sign Gyokeres. Players used to the physical natures of the Championship have a shorter adjustment time.

Unfortunately, we'll probably spend the transfer window chasing Wober and Lang and end up with a last minute emergency signing. However, since Gnoto was a "consolation prize" when we didn't get guy that went to Inter Milan to sit the bench maybe we'll get another booby prize that's better than the original target.

Just heard Greenwood is the third lowest paid player in the Prem on 1300 quid a week; you wouldn't blame him if he walked - he needs a rise. Lowest paid some lad at Bournemouth on 385 quid - it was from the gutter press so probably wrong

Honestly, it would sum us up to sign a centre back to play at left back from the Austrian league after extending Llorentes contract for some bizarre reason.

Absolute waste of time signing, sign a proper bloody left back and play Struijk in the middle.

As always, sign a striker ffs Bamford is done guy hasn't played consistently for 2 years now his time is done, get him fit then sell him.

Left back and a striker, we might have a chance, don't sign those and we are once again depending on kids, we've got good youngsters but it is a stupid strategy to rely on 5/6 u23 players every game to keep us in PL.

He signed the contract, prove his worth till end of season and I am sure he will get improved terms.

Seen this, abit confusing though. I read he is a left CB that can play LB...is this not what we already have and why we were apparently looking for a genuine LB.

Great to hear from you Leeds FTW.

    Wobbler ?

He played left-back in the Dec 7th 4-0 defeat in a friendly against Inter-Milan & the 4-0 defeat on Nov 2nd against AC Milan in the Champions League.

As for his matches in the Austrian Bundesliga - very strange when we have 3 centre-backs already in the squad who can play left-back, (admittedly badly) ?

Interesting to see the alleged LUFC scouts report on him tho.

Wobbler? He will make an interesting pairing with Koch.
