    Swans v Watford

From a team that won 6 out of 7 matches and were in a play-off spot, to a team that hasn’t won in the following 8 matches takes some doing but our lot have managed to do it.
The defence is letting in goals for fun and we can’t score. Our defenders seemingly can’t be coached to do some basic defending and our set-piece coach has made them worse, have we scored from one this season?
We are in free fall, tumbling down the table, with two of the toughest home games of the season coming up in the next few days.
For the first time in a long time I am reluctant to go and watch my team and their boring possession football and kamikaze defending.
Watford up first then, they’re in a play-off position and are strong away from home, winning 3 and drawing 1 of their last 4 away games.
We succumbed on Tuesday night to a weak Reading team that had as bad a defensive record as ours, so I can’t muster up enough positivity to predict we can get anything from this match.

I wonder what the players are really thinking. Are they all in 100% with Martin’s system, doesn’t look like it.
Each match is riddled with individual mistakes, they’re taking it in turns to mess up, so frustrating.
We know football is a confidence thing and one win could trigger an upturn, but we have got to stop conceding first in every match to give ourselves a chance.
Martin has to change his tactics too before it’s too late. Attack from the outset, stop sloppy passing and giving possession away. Quicker movement, more aggression and running off the ball, we can do it, we have seen them doing it.

    HT: Swans 1 (Piroe 39’) - Watford 0

    70% possession, 9 shots, 4 on target!

    Can we keep it up?

    We certainly can!

At last, we’ll done the Swans. What a result, completely out of the blue against a team that’s just come down from the PL.
The new aggressiveness came with a cost though, four yellow cards.

    64% possession, 15 shots, 7 on target!

    FT: Swansea 4 - Watford 0
    Piroe 39’ 78’
    Cullen 74’
    Latibeaudiere 87’
