With Sunderland losing Ross Stewart for the rest of the season, could Chris Martin on a short term
deal be signed, to fill the gap in forwards, at the club. ?

The player as come into Cardiff City, & undergoing rehabilitation with the clubs physio's,
with a view to training with the club.
But now this appears unlikely, as Cardiff City would be liable for any potential injuries
caused, while training with the team.
The injury prone player, as only played more than 20 league games in a single season
once, since the 2013/14 season.
Whether new Cardiff City manager Sabri Lamouchi thinks the player is worth a short
deal, remains to be seen.

Could Ogbene be the first incoming transfer for Russell Martin.

But Russell Martin said after last nights game, he didn't get players in, who he wanted,
so did the Swansea City owners let him down.
He lost striker Michael Obafemi to Burnley in the January transfer window, then nearly
lost forward Whittaker to Scottish club Rangers.
