If promotion comes, then it comes: if it doesn't it's no bad thing. We are ahead of my mid table league expectations already and on course to win the FA Cup.

Not sure that’s the case GP. Don’t think anyone is suggesting the old ‘spend silly money’ strategy. Just asking about the best way of going about things. Interesting prediction though and a realistic one - the playoff final not the FA Cup - imo. Not sure we could all stand such ‘hearbreak’ again
