Results like today are what promotions are made from!

Basic opponent who can spring a surprise on any given day yet you find a way to win AND you keep yet another clean sheet.

Your main striker gets another confidence boosting goal, his second in less than 5 full matches, both being winners.

These are all wonderful traits and so hard to achieve, managers spend a career hoping to create this type of heady cocktail.

This is as special as Megson’s era, possibly more so.

Carlos may not know this again if he manages for 30 more years, let’s hope he too appreciates and enjoys this wonderful mix.

    Indeed!

What is it now, 8 wins in 10 games? And the wins are in total 14-1 I think!

2 defeats, but the 1st was the 1st game for CC, and the 2nd a penalty AET.

Extremely well done and played Carlos, and hang your f at head in shame Bruce!

It would be churlish of me to moan after another win with a clean sheet but if I have to be critical of anything it would be we were too careless when on the attack. Poor final balls when to be honest some of them were relatively simple passes. Diangana was particularly at fault for giving the ball away or losing it too easily when attacking. However we were practically perfect defensively bar for one incident in the first half. At that stage we could have been three up or have gone in one nil down. Other than that it has become a pleasure to attend games again. I just pray that Corberan does not walk away due to sh*te that is going on behind the scenes.
