    Matchday Thread: Rams v Barnsley

A real challenge to our unbeaten run

My guess is it'll be a strong team and a fullish house

    2-1 Derby

    Anyone else?

Difficult one this, but yes I'd go with 2-1 Derby, maybe we can do a Chessie and get to the semi final?

I think 2-1 Derby is quite likely as we take another step on the way to winning the cup for the first time in over 75 years

Stranger things have happened, I mean Chesterfield who were in league 1 in 1997 would have got to the final if their "goal" had been allowed, which today with goal line technology it would most likely have been.

So given a favourable draw, assuming we beat Barnsley of course, which isn't a given, then anything is possible, it would be ironic to be in league 1 and get further in the FA Cup than we ahve done in recent times.

Largish crowd? I doubt it. Only the South and East stands open at £11 for adults and £6 for kids and pensioners. There's plenty tickets available.

It seems the FA Cup has lost its appeal to most fans.

One has to consider that many fans are feeling the pinch and despite the reasonable ticket price, one has to add travel and food/drink to that. No doubt if we had drawn a premier league club it would have been buzzing, but these sort of ties with teams one will see with your ST hold no attraction.

... and they won't sell out the SE corner either. 15K max IMO
