“Capitalism” takes less time to type.

It’s irrelevant whether he approves or not. Makes no difference to the game.

For the record though, he doesn’t

Normally I would approve but my Brither Rory Stewarty persuaded me to sell my Amazon shares and invest in a Children's Uyhgar factory in China

I thought I was on pretty safe ground, seeing as he started a thread on it. If Brochred starts a thread called ‘I’m definitely going to the St. Johnstone Game’ I’d be comfortable saying he’d be going too.

What is it you’re trying to do here?

Some folk at my work near choked on their coffee when I told them I had never shopped at Amazon.

Something very sinister behind them and not just that they avoid paying their taxes.

    It's a strange subject for a thread.

Anyway Amazon have hired 743000 more people since 2019, so getting rid of 18000 is really nothing.

Well of course, it's up to them who they do and who they don't employ.

They clearly don't have to take public opinion into account as only The DeeDon and a very few others will bother to boycott.

I haven't heard any stories about P&O ferries struggling.
