    Useless...

Wee bit upbeat at half time. Then back to normal. New manager is on a loser here. Good luck to whoever the poor sod may be. Regardless.. 'Mon the South!

I totally disagree with you Bagapapa, unless you were watching a completely different game to me?
Queens should easily have been 3 -0 up before Alloa scored, to be honest 4-0 if you remember Patron's fabulous free kick which dipped and struck the bar before half time with the keeper well beaten.
Connor Sammon is a handful and he was a little fortunate that the ball fell for him for their first goal, while their second was well taken.
All credit to Alloa for taking the points, but Queens were far from "useless" so I'm sorry I disagree with you.
I also stepped in this afternoon in the old stand to defend Queens when Alloa scored their first goal and and one man screamed that they were "embarrassing" I remonstrated with the young man and simply stated that "Queens were not embarrassing" whereupon he seemed to lose the plot.
Obviously both he and you are absolutely entitled to your opinions, but please don't be surprised if not everyone agrees with you.
At worst, Queens were unlucky, but to suggest they were "useless" and "embarrassing" is simply not true.
One thing I will agree with is that we need a new manager and a couple of signings, but once again we are not useless nor embarrassing. ..... sorry to disagree .

Played quite well in the first half and defo missed a couple of chances but once McKay was injured, with Hendrie moving into central defence and Quitongo coming on at left back we looked in the second period a much poorer team.

As in original post, I was reasonably happy at half time, given that we were a goal up without being very good against which was (once more) poor opposistion. However, things turned out as normal. We are too soft/weak. No fight spirit/desire. Wish we had 11 Wilsons.

We managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once again. We should never have lost that game and the double miss by Irvine then Paton deep in the second half came back to bite us. The loss of Mackay at halftime was significant in weakening a fragile defense. Hopefully Marvin can rectify this .

Todays performance was poor at best. Yes we were the better side up to the point Alloa equalised, however that, for me, was more of a reflection on how poor Alloa are rather than how good queens were. The one thing that stood out was that every time salmon ran at our back line we were all over the place and it cost us the first goal and should have lost a couple more before the end. We are so soft at the back and it showed today and certainly not for the first time this season. Yes we can point at the half time change but I firmly believe that would have made no difference. We are poor in so many areas of the pitch and lacking in certain personalities that for me make a good side. So much so I think we are going to be looking over our shoulders rather than looking up

we need a proper noisy motivational captain on the pitch in my opinion.
