By coincidence Mr Bartley is featured in the Globe Inn Doonhamers' QOS charity calendar this year when we defeated the Hibees 1 - 0 at Palmy in 2016

Welcome onboard Marvin and hopefully your experience as a defensive coach can be used to sort out our soft centred backline m

Livi manager David Martindale backing Marvin Bartley to be a success at Queens but is surprised that he hasn't entered management at a higher level but saying '' if he is given the time and resources he will get them back into the Championship at the earliest opportunity ''

We wish Marvin all the best! Sort the defence please and we'll move up the table, I have no doubt.

Doesn't matter how many managers Queens go through ,thay can only work to what the board give them so unless there's a massive upturn in investment from the money men to allow a manager to get the quality needed it's going to be same as before

Though that said I think we have made a good manager choice and he will bring the current players forward

Hopefully you are correct mate but it will take some turnaround to sort that defence out - we have actually scored more goals than league leaders Dunfermline but lost TWENTY - FIVE more goals than them ! !

Bartley straight in and took training this morning with a completely different approach than before. Personally think he’s a fantastic appointment by the club and wish him well.
