Is it possible that he could be facing a 3 match ban come Monday? The elbow incident leading up to his second goal was fairly clear cut but the ref didn't see it.

Asante is at least three levels up on Grant. Every goal he has scored for us has been different, and most of them outstanding.

It wouldn't be politically correct. By all accounts I think the ref seemed to have a good game.

Really composed, how many other players would have skied it or put it in the keepers hands? Really impressed with him.
I think in matches we forget sometimes how especially lower league clubs try to niggle and get in the faces of players, maybe Asante had just had enough, who knows. Its not like him to be honest.

He is doing very well on a quite steep learning curve.

He’s looking the real deal; if he gets a ban we will miss him badly. Hopefully, the ref’s report will state that the incident was seen and play waved on, i.e. advantage played, as Asante was being held back. If that is the case, he will not be banned but where the FA is concerned, I wouldn’t trust that they will see it that way.
It did occur to me, though, that if Asante is banned, it would give an opportunity for our dear friend Zohore to make a comeback…………!!!!
