Left back dilemmas and Hirst leaves

Well the window opens and we of course need to bolster attack, central midfield and now it seems left back.
Edun is set for Charlton on loan and mola is set to leave too,so genuine competition for Pickering is needed.
Hirst has left to sign for Ipswich on loan.
Wish the lad well but the championship was a step up to far.

trouble is, neither Edun or Mola provided any kid of pressure to be playing, so we realise we do need players who can play and fit in well.
JRC coming in and performing meant we didnt need to start looking for a RB to replace Britain after his injury. Mola and Edun didnt come in and play well, so its fair to say they are best off going elsewhere. personally I would look to move both on permanently. As they won't play. I do think they will be looking for a better LB to rival Pickering, who is looking decent now.

We dont actually need to replace Hirst. Dack is back fully fit and looking good again. We have Dolan, Brereton, SG, Dack and Vale. We just don't need another striker. That said, I think he may still look in that area, I just think its a waste.

what we do need is a better midfield. I am not a fan of Hedges. I believe he is a weak ness for us. I am not sure about Szmodics either. Travis's form has been patchy. But I do like the look of Garrett. Morton is decent enough, and ahead of our own younger players. But I think we need a new right sided effective midfielder, who doesnt need to cut back onto his left everytime he is free down the right.
I would try get Van Hecke from Brighton who is not playing at all. As cover.
