On the day I think that Mansfield are the best team that I have seen this season at Gresty Road but obviously they have dropped off a bit of late.
Hoping that we might steal a 1-1 draw.

A really good away point. Not a brilliant performance but enough. Good goal by Kelvin. Had the shot in his sights for a while before making contact. It seemed to dip and swerve. The Mansfield commentary couldn't believe it hadn't been deflected.
Brook was anonymous, Thomas gave the ball away a lot and the midfield was missing in the first half. On the positive side, both CHs played well, alongside Mellor. Sambou showed up well, once he came on albeit helped by the red card which gave us a lot more space to attack.
So, not a great game but a good point and unbeaten in the new year!
