I thought we could use money from sales? We aren't under an embargo as such we just have to operate within a business plan. So if we had X millions from sales we could use this or some of it to pay fees.

PW has said on several occasions that he can't use money from sales.

Apparently not, we cant pay transfer fees at the moment, not that it seems to be an issue! Warne confirmed that a few days ago, saying there is no point in selling a player as he cant use the proceeds. Hopefully this can be renegotiated in the summer.

Wouldn't get £100M for the entire squad

Hence the emoji Currently it's no transfer/loan/agent's fees till summer 2024, £8M spend although I'm not sure if that includes ancillary wages, maintenance, utilities etc. My guess is it doesn't. £12K a week wages cap. There is a slight possibility some of it might get relaxed a little come the summer but I doubt it will happen.

the rules definitely won't be relaxed if they think we are progressing. It must really upset Rick parry to see us doing OK in league 1.
