    Old Firm B teams

I see that the SPFL are considering introducing another league SPFL3 to allow for Rangers and Celtic B teams to be included as the Lowland league are turfing them and Hearts out.
A lot of non league clubs are up in arms over this and I agree with them. The old firm want to use this to bring their academy players on and give them more experience by playing in adult football as opposed to age level. However how many Academy players play regularly for the Old Firm? Celtic have Calum McGregor but do Rangers have any?Why should they be allowed to do this when hardly any of their Academy players progress to the first team squad.I would say that United and St Mirren are the Premier league clubs who use Academy players the most.
The are thought to be proposing that they can be promoted up to championship level.

The manager of Darvel who play host to The Sheep on Monday has used his 15 minutes of fame wisely to let the country's football fans know what is going on behind their backs in OF meetings. My take on it is they will protect lower league teams with no ambition doing a Brechin on the proviso that their B teams are allowed in the SPFL up to and including Championship level.
