Great player for us , shamefully treated by the then board , frozen out and then he and De-Marchi attacked in Sandeman st , the board from that day should hang theirs heads in shame ,

I never saw Billio play as I was an armchair supporter back then.
However I remember reading about him and the other player getting attacked in Sandeman Street.
Did the police ever catch the culprit (s) who attacked them.

Sad news re his death, do you really have to have a pop at the old board, that’s been dealt with and should stay in the past

The reason I mentioned it is , De-Marchi in his tribute today said he and Billio had went through dark times together , obvious reference to the incident in Sandeman st and the build up to it , De-Matchi obviously hasn’t let it go
