Regarding the Football Monitoring Board. Willie Garner is there, an ex footballer and ex assistant manager at the club. Fair enough.

But what is Craig Brown on the Board for if not his football knowledge? Surely he would be given a spot on the "Football" monitoring board? Surely that's the reason he's on the Board?

I would point out that Willie Garner was also player-manager of Keith FC and led them to victory in the 1988-89 Highland League Cup, by beating the Inverness Masons 3-2 in the replay. He agrees with me that this was the highlight of his career.

In common with many posters, I'm astonished to learn that the formerly-bewigged-charlatan and dodgy, dodgy businessman is still exerting ANY influence and having ANY input at board level.

In a week of beyond the pale unacceptable-ness, this one snippet is perhaps the most unacceptable.

It’s just a pity that his post-Dons career has seen him plummet to playing for such a couple of weasel clubs.

I’d take a minority share too if I can be Manager with the final say on all football matters and if I can work from home when it’s cold and windy. I don’t have any Managerial experience but I have lots of strong views on AFC, like most others. I’d need an Assistant though to cover for me when I can’t make the matches or when the weather is inclement. And I’d want free tickets for all family and friends. Dave?

PS - and a Company Mercedes.
