I don’t owe HMRC it just grates me the fact I pay more a month than a lot of people earn… I could get a free bike up to £750 from work as we have a scheme.. errrm… no thanks 😀

Clearly he would be pissed off to have to do such post-match running under the Simpson command, him not only being a goalkeeper but also a Rochdale player.

We "were lucky to get him" when his deal to sign up for a Championship club allegedly fell through at the last minute and he was a friend of our manager. He was doing us a favour in signing up and also he was running out of time to get a club. He did adequately for us but obviously at the end of the season he regarded Carlisle United as below his station and turned down our offer of a significant contract length. Football is largely a meritocracy and since leaving Carlisle United he has certainly not done incredibly well. We would certainly have kept him, probably on a wage better than the squad average, him allegedly being of Championship quality, but since then he has not produced form of outstanding quality. He is at Rochdale because that is his level. If he was better than that level he would be higher in the football firmament.

Flash Gordon puts us into the lead on 8 minutes.

Swindon Town took the lead but now it is Swindon Town 1 - 3 Gillingham.

Over the last 3 matches including this one Gillingham are the best team in League Two.

In the first half Rochdale committed 6 fouls and got no yellow cards. We committed 4 fouls and got 3 yellow cards. Our 4 fouls must have been vile.
