    Matt Phillips

Out for 12 - 16 weeks!! Not exactly surprising as he’s always out at some point!

Whilst he’s improved in the last few games - he’s still not good enough and should be moved on!

Another sick note player! Any offers yet for Livermore - Grant - Reach - Mowatt and Zohorse?

Which Christmas will Bryan come back?

Well, at least Swift has that week to recover before the next league match. While Phillips has been much better since CC arrived, I think that we need a step up from his overall performances, that’s why we need another good midfielder. I had forgotten about Kean Bryan, I don’t expect to see him in an Albion shirt again. So, Mr Lai, open up that wallet……..

……oh dear, it’s already empty, is it?

CC is a breath of fresh air, but I think he got the team selection wrong in both games of the last round.

God forbid if Wallace or Yokuslu gets injured tomorrow. Just play the reserves and don't worry about the result. I just see the cup being an unwelcome distraction to be honest.

After this news, we have to get an attacking midfielder / winger in before the window closes, we can't rely on Grant/Dianagana/Reach...they're either not good enough or too inconsistent.

Let’s not underestimate what players like Phillips do for the training of Physios.

We are a centre of excellence when it comes to gaining practical experience for them.
Credit where its due, any physiotherapist joining WBA is guaranteed abundant work.
It’s a team effort, firstly attracting injury prone players and then later giving them a rolling contract.

Philips is known to be one of the hardest trainers.
He has average 30 games a season, but when he gets a muscle pull he is always out for around 10 games.
Was playing well lately , rate him or not been told he is a top pro.

Should have got rid 3 years ago!! Totally inconsistent and spends too much time on the treatment table!

    Get rid! Past it!

I agree he passed his sell by date like Livermore , but it's the likes of Zohore who stink the place out.

Really good player at our level and a model pro.

Watch the form dip with him missing.

Yes a good pro and trains hard but it’s on the pitch that counts

Best Years when he was a Blackpool
He was then Young Strong Fit Fast BUT very fragile confidence
    Last 4 years with us
    Young no more
    Strong Not as
Fit maybe for 50 % of any season
    Fast no more
    fragile confidence just the same
    Agree should have been replaced

Form will drop in defense agree Diagana not a competitive bone in his body
