    Players we’ve sold

Players we’ve sold but wish we’d could have kept, Bryan Robson probably one of the biggest but I’ll start in the early 70’s
    Asa Hartford

Gary Thompson. Also felt we let Bobby Hope go to Blues too early and definitely should have paid Len Cantello the extra he wanted rather than sell him to Bolton.

Too many to list but the likes of Diomansy Kamara made such a difference to our side and departed thinking the grass was greener and never amounted to anything afterwards.

Losing Gera the first time and Phillips when we got promoted were self inflicted wounds.

Don’t get me started on Chris Wood!!

    AGAIN!!!!😤😤

Clearly disappointed to see Bryan Robson go, but at the time, I was equally sad to see Remi Moses go with him. I thought he was great for us, but didn’t somehow reproduce the standard at Manure.

Ist time I saw Chris Wood in one his Ist games in the u23s. I turned round to this old chap and said keep an eye for Chris Wood this kids going make it .
The old chap let me go on about Woody, then he said can introduce you to his Mom who was sitting next to him.
Can't remember if Chris lived with this man and his wife , when he ist came over or Chris and his mom lived next door, but he drove Chris and his mom about.

You lot will laugh but Don Goodman going, we were flying in the league and favourites to go up. Lost him and the wheels fell off.

Bryan Robson takes some topping. Really does. I know it was only a loan but Lukaku was a big loss for us. Wish we could have somehow bought him.
