Just read that Tom Verlaine has passed at just 73. Used to be into the stuff he did with Television and particularly the album "Marquee Moon" alongside fellow guitarist Richard Lloyd. Although you see their singles on punk compilations these days , like fellow New York bands Blondie and Talking Heads, Television were so much more. Influenced many bands and guitar players of the 80s. Another one gone too soon.

Marquee Moon is one of my favourite albums. Tom Verlaine was a very talented guitarist and helped write with Patti Smith on her debut album Horses. Sad news.
