    Cup selections!

    Saturday’s side wasn’t our strongest X1 but it included certain players who would figure regularly. If we aren’t going to put our strongest side out surely we would be better playing basically the same second string as was selected for the two games v. Chesterfield. At least they would have had the experience of having played a couple of games together and let’s face it, they couldn’t have done any worse than the side that did play. To my mind, you either play your best side or a second team but not a ‘mish mash’ like we did.

    I agree Leics. buddy.
    If we select a clearly poorer side, or indeed an academy side, the result would be judged accordingly. No reflection on our ‘1st team’ League performances.
    However, the mix and match squad will…indeed has, jeopardised the excellent run of successful performances.
    Coventry is a significant match therefore to restore our positivity…or otherwise!
