Decent enough band and I hope they do well and keep pushing the Rotherham identity because the media will do their very best to push the 'from Sheffield' agenda! They sound like a very obvious mix of The Arctic Monkeys and the Cour****ers. The Smiths and Joy Division they are not!

That's disappointing, she was on Later...With Jools Holland a few months back and he introduced her as being from Rotherham.
First I'd heard of her tbh.

As regards The Reytons, first I heard of them was last year, strangely via the football shirt community.
They released a ''Home'' and ''Away'' to coincide with a gig at Magna. I listened to some stuff of there's and did quite like them.
I think the earlier description of a cross between Arctic Monkeys and Court ee ners pretty accurate, but I like both those as well, so I don't see that as a particularly bad thing.
