    Wrexham or Cambridge.

I watched the Wrexham game some of it anyway, and Ryan Reynolds said that him and his mate were interested in a bunch of clubs. Im sure United were one, it vwas when red Barry took over.

He said that the prospective owner had " deep pockets".

He chose himself to own United.

I may be wrong, and i may be right, United could be where Wrexham are today, on the way to the premiership with a new ground.

Im not upset in the slightest, Reynolds made the right choice. If it was Reynolds, he wanted United, which makes sense, 30 minutes from London, with a booming city in the future, the biggest boomer in the country.

Instead he chose Wrexham, a welsh hillfort in the middle of nowhere.

Be upset United fans, im laughing, another disaster to add to all the others.

Reynolds have invested stacks of money into Wrexham including Mullins who came from Cambridge when they got promoted into League One,that is the kind of money that's being paid by the club, players are willing to drop two leagues for the filthy lucre,Mullins is reportedly on around £5k a week and he's not the only one

Reynolds master plan was getting a series about his buying the club on Disney+, it was/is a huge success and gained Wrexham new fans from all over the world especially the USA and has generated more money than the other clubs put together (probably)

I hope that Wrexham don't go up but they will,if they don't then they will just buy more League One players to make sure that they go up next season, the fact that they managed a 3-3 draw on the BBC will have their new found "fans" frothing at the mouth for more Disney+

Three years ago Wrexham sold 2500 season tickets and this season they've sold 8800 and on top of that they've sold around 8000 replica shirts with many being send abroad,8000 shirts Frank for a non league club!
These numbers are very impressive but what happens when the owners get bored with being a mid table League Two club and Mickey Mouse won't give them another series on Disney?

You are right, it will be interesting to see how it all pans out, having money is no guarantee of success. Reynolds even said that he loved Wrexham more than his family, jokingly, but he said it.

The perversity of humans is that depending on who you are personality wise, some can lose interest as quickly as finding it. Ultimately Wrexham will return to where thay used to be, unless they can find succesive sugar daddies.

Chelsea were nobodies till Abramovich turned up, then that yankee. Owning a club has its merits, many years ago i and another nearly started a sunday league club in Smethwick.

All it took to top any league would be a manager who was involved in local football, and a tenner a game for the players. Maybe that already goes on at that level.

As for Wrexham, they had better enjoy it while it lasts, if it carries on, well happy days. Imagine Man Utd v Wrexham, champions cup semi final.

As life would have it, the Wrexham bubble will burst.

Reynolds has stated that he wants Wrexham in the Premier League in ten years,it won't happen,he's obviously loving the attention that owning a football club is giving him but without the Disney money he couldn't splash the cash as he's been doing
Wrexham are definitely going up and probably this season, nobody else can touch them in terms of player quality and that includes Notts who have a pretty strong squad themselves, they will be in the mix for promotion into League One but after that you need serious money to climb any further, look at Sunderland for example, they didn't even get out of League One at the first attempt nevermind the Championship which will require stupid amounts of money to get into the Prem which Reynolds won't or can't be able to finance, things are looking good for them right now but they are a big fish in a small pond but each promotion they grow smaller,it's ok having thousands of "fans" in the USA but they ain't going to be there every Saturday putting money into the club and when (not if) Disney pull out then their interest will drop faster than a politicians promise
