Who Was The Last Wow Signing In Your Opinion ?

When you last thought " wow we've done well to land him "

Probably Stephen McPhail for me considering he played in a Champions League semi final for Leeds and we'd struggled in league one for a couple of season's prior to his signing .

I was well impressed when we signed Alex Mowatt given that he had previously been a player of the year at Leeds & I liked what I had seen with him in a Leeds shirt & to be honest I was gutted when he finally moved on , I really thought he was a good player for us & always gave his best , minds you I was also impressed when we signed Frimpong , that went well !!!!

Agree with Mcphail. Great coup was that for a league 1 outfit.

The signing of Craig Hignett was very exciting too. We did ever so well to land him for under a million quid cos no doubt about it, he was top flight material and it showed in his time with us.

Jan Molby on loan from Liverpool was surreal at the time, couldn't believe it.

Yeah the Jan Molby loan deal was huge at the time, just like Molby himself was lol.
And although it wasn't a wow signing, I was impressed when we signed Andy Payton. But it was a shame to lose Wayne Biggins as part of the swap deal.
