    Credit to Southampton

That's about the toughest match we've had all season.

If Soton play like that second half of the season they deserve to be safe.

I think they show just how strong throughout the Prem is nowadays. The only team that really look out of their depth this season is Bournemouth. All the others have been looking like teams that will end up 13th, 14th, 15ht but because there are no other really weak teams are finding themselves in the bottom three.

Indeed, came to give us a game.
Armstrong quiet but he was probably thinking he’d get a kicking off his mam.

Pope did brilliantly to deny him.

They just signed a quality player on deaf line too I don't doubt they'll stay up.

We were howling in the 2nd half. They figured out how to get around the press.

Push the full backs really wide & play a high ball over to them once our front 3 were pushed up high in their defensive 3rd leaving the midfield 3 and the full backs exposed.

Edwardo Simeone will have to take a look at that!.

They did what they could, but even in the second half when we started to sit a bit deeper, they couldn't unlock our defence except for one time. This shows me how strong we've become. We looked like a team that was experienced in these kind of situations where nerves inevitably play a big part. Even if Bruno crossed the line. Great job by us again!

(Sorry, was this thread about praising So'ton? )

No, just accepting that they gave us more of a game than many higher up in the table have done.

Fighters like that don't deserve to be relegated.
