Starting line up to fell Forest new saplings ?

So Cooper will hope he has enough in his squad to aid the Reds’ push for PL survival having signed Felipe, Jonjo Shelvey & Keylor Navas on deadline day. Not sure who he'll field against us & who we'll field next out - any preference ideas for us ?

Forest in's - Gustavo Scarpa (free transfer from Palmeiras), Danilo (signed from Palmeiras for a fee in the region of £16-18 million), Chris Wood (on loan from Newcastle United with a conditional obligation to buy), Felipe (signed from Atletico Madrid for a fee in the region of £2m), Jonjo Shelvey (from Newcastle United), keeper Keylor Navas (on loan from PSG).

Very unfortunate that we ran into them after the transfer window. They definitely are not a relegation team based on their roster after that window. A whole lot of teams I'd rather see than them right now.

Lets hope they leave it all on the pitch today against scum and are off their game on Sunday.

Well if they're left knackered we might as well unleash our pace & get at them, Spaldy.

    4-1-3-2
    Meslier

    Ayling - ? - Struijk - Wöber

    Roca

    Adams (McKennie) Aaronson Gnonto

    Rutter Bamford

The Athletic reporting tonight that Harrison got as far as starting a medical at Leicester before Leeds changed their mind & decided not to proceed with the sale apparently so maybe will be on the bench after his hectic week.

Latest news suggests 5 are ruled out of the game & Tyler Adams given a 50% chance of getting game time, so suggests Forshaw, Gray, Summerville, Koch & Dallas are all said to be “ruled out” of this must-win fixture with rumours Rodrigo has an ankle knock now to contend with.

Not sure a recuperating Sinni should start this one or indeed Cooper ?

Must win game, so not sure a repeat of starting cup line up below will do the job in a heated atmosphere of the City Ground - so old, wise, cool, experienced heads in JM' preferred 4-1-3-2, maybe ?

    Meslier

    Kristensen Koch (Llorente) Wöber Firpo

    Roca

    Sinni Greenwood Harrison

    Rutter Bamford

Koch is suspended. Marsch will start Gnonto. I think Cooper will start if not injured. I think he will partner Wobbler. Struijk at left back. He will leave Roca and Adams in their usual positions unless Adams is injured. Then maybe Greenwood or McKennie. Up front if Rodrigo is injured I am sure we will see Barndoor Bamford start.

Just watching them play tonight - it is to be hoped whoever is refereeing our game i watching, I don't recall any team having so many attempts to get penalty's and freekicks since Greylish was at Villa

If that’s true about Harrison, his efforts for the rest of the season might not be great, with him knowing that we were willing to sell him.

If you were looking to undermine his confidence, you couldn’t have devised a better plan. Shameful.

Someone should show them the episode of Take us Home with the Dan James episode. That said they screwed Dan James over at the start of the season too as he didn’t want to go to Fulham if he could have stayed.

Disgraceful and disgusting if true. Absolutely abhorrent. Not a great example for the younger players in the squad.
