They are on a decent run of form since Xmas and held Woking to a draw away in midweek.

Notts have visited Plainmoor 7 times this century and only won once. Conceded 9 in the last 2 trips.
Chesterfield are the only side that has won there since the first week of October.

A more difficult fixture than the table would suggest.

    Torquay 1 Notts 1

Huge test, especially given our poor record down there over the years. I'll go for 2-0 to Notts, with fond memories of the 1997-98 championship-winning season. Two goals for Macca. 485 Notts fans in attendance.

    Langstaff back on fire 2

0 if ELLIS is indeed not playing - if he is playing i will give them 1 with Ellis scoring it !

Always a good spoiling team under Johnson, I think they'll stop us while not threatening anything much themselves

0-1 win (so expect a 3-5 or something like that)

A little bit off topic but if we can remain unbeaten until the Wrexham game we will be 33 league games unbeaten. A draw or better at Wrexham would mean we join Leeds Utd on 34 games unbeaten, 6th best. Not wanting to tempt fate but how far can this squad go?

1st - Arsenal 2003/04 - 49 games. One of only 2 teams to go a whole season unbeaten, the other being Preston in 1888/89. Pretty sure there's one or two posters on here can remember that season

    2nd - Liverpool - 2010-2020 - 44 games.

3rd - Huddersfield 2010/11 - 43 games. Our first season back in L1 after Munto season started with the harsh reality of just how difficult it was going to be. That opening day 3-0 home defeat to Huddersfield we were like lambs to the slaughter.

    4th - Them o'er the river - 1977-1978 - 42 games. Meh.

    5th - Chelski 2004/05 - 40 games. The 'Special One' era.

    6th - Leeds 1968-1969 - 34 games.

I've not looked yet to see where 20 games currently sees us positioned, maybe one for UTM?

Let's hope any nerves from SM game & equalling the record are banished now & we get back to the standard we have set this season.

    Gulls 1 v 1 Notts (Bostock)

Although we're winning games we seem to have lost that killer instinct we had in the first half of the season. We used to go 2 maybe 3-0 up early on but now feels like we've been sussed a little.
