    One for the Griffy...

Whist looking for a music program to watch on TV I came across Classic Artists Jethro Tull on Sky Arts,It was available for download so I plan to watch it over the weekend but at over 2 hours long I wondered if you had seen it and if it's any good or not?

Will there be a lot or proggy beardy blokes?

Will there be a lot of dancing on one leg whist playing the flute?

Are they really from Luton coz I honestly thought that they would be from some kind of rural spot not that concrete sh1thole just off junction 10 of the M1?

I haven’t seen it but I’ll look out for it. I reckon that there are a number of sub-genres of prog and I’d put Tull firmly in the folk-prog genre. Their front man, Ian Anderson, favoured the Catweazle look for a while so yes, expect to see a tall, skinny, scruffy beardy bloke with a flute who occasionally stands on one leg. Thing is though, he’s one of the most intelligent and articulate blokes you can listen to when he’s interviewed. There are other beards in the band, typical of folk types. Dunno about the Luton thing but I suppose they have to come from somewhere. Let me know what you think when you’ve watched it, they did some great stuff back in the day, and thanks for the heads-up.
