We are bottom of the league because we are one of if not thee worst. Fair enough that certain players in their positions are better Levitt, Fletcher, Behich for example, but a squad being capable of putting 11 players on the pitch in a cohesive unit is something we have one of the worst of

We all know we lack certain types of players and I would argue there isnt any formation available for Fox to set us up where you could say suits us. Every single formation has square pegs in round holes atm
Completely agree. On top of that we must have the worst bench in the league. A lack of quality and quantity but with some good players in the team.

Again though we look like a team that are better than our position in the league

It’s very tight down there and Rossco put in a decent performance at ibrox. We were not the only ones to be unlucky today

Motherwell are looking awful - just depends how their new signings fit in

The next two matches are massive for our season - Killie in the cup and the fermers at home.

Both very winnable and the way we are playing we should win - for our season we have to win
Motherwell look doomed. Haven't won a league game since October. Haven't won at Fir Park since August. Killie's fixtures aren't kind to them either, since they win nothing away from home. Hearts & Celtic are two of their four home games.

You think Motherwell are going to continue this form all season. I will guarantee you they start to pick up results at some point. We cant win games. Honestly ill be shocked if we are anything other than bottom 2 come the end of the season.

100%, we are almost incapable of winning away from home, and seeing games out. Killie twice we have shot ourselves in the foot, Hibs away, today, I'm not even sure it's about character, overcoming adversity, I just think it comes down to not being strong enough defensively to shut teams out and not being good enough attacking wise as a team to put teams away. The bad decisions like Mwell at Tannadice Watt red stand out because we aren't good enough to recover from them. Really need to get something against likes of St John and Sheep at home, and somehow grind out a result at Mwell and County, Killie result was a disaster.

How can you say we can't win any games when we've beaten St Johnstone and Ross County in the last month or so?

And Motherwells 'form' is a possibility. They clearly have a manager who doesn't know how to turn things around. I've inverted form, because to me, form is the last 5 or 6 games. They've been at it the entire season.

I was trying to think of something positive to say while watching the egg chasers, but then i crashed back to reality by looking at the possibility we will be without McGrath, Edwards, Harkes, Pawlett and maybe Behich for the next league game.

Get the defenders back and maybe i will be convinced otherwise, but ahead is 8 out of 9 games where we need to be at 100% effort for 90 minutes.

    Much better performance today
The last 10 fixtures before the split are favourable with the only one we wouldn't really count as winnable is Rangers away.
Killie are rotten away from home and we shouldn't have to go back to that plastic pitch after the split having already played them twice there.
Motherwell continue to be really poor.

    The negatives

The transfer window. Now that it looks like McGrath and Pawlett might be out for an extended period it is leaving us with an even less options. Not strengthening was sheer folly.
Do we know how long Pawlett and McGrath are out for ?

Maybe it’s time for young Kai to get his chance

Edwards being out for a few matches will be a loss

I think players around first team waiting to come in can contribute. Sibbald and Niskanen combined well for the goal today

Kais form has been brilliant. If there's a time to get him in the team, it's now while his confidence is high.
