The turnaround in Burnley's fortunes since Pace shifted Garlick and Co is astonishing.
So now you're claiming Mr Pace is scouting players, negotiating their contracts, signing them and instructing the manager on the style of play. Or if not all of the above, just what are you claiming on his behalf ? Besides, as Sub points out, one relegation.

He definitely changed the style of play. He recruited VK. As an American he said the Dyche ball was just way too boring and not what the Americans are about. In came VK with his promised style.

The Americans appear to like their football played with style, Leeds are certainly playing with style and losing regularly, the Leeds fans are overjoyed with Jesse Marsch and his style of play and, after his sacking this morning, it appears that the Board were overjoyed.
The last PL game that they won was an exciting 4-3 against Bournemouth on 5 November 2022, they had beaten Liverpool the previous week. However, those wins were the first in 9 PL games but they were playing the American way.

The Clarets are doing exceptionally well this season and it is great to see, however, we are not playing in the Premier League and only time will tell whether or not things will develop. The bonus is that we are not playing the American way because our manager is much more astute than that and knows the English game very well indeed.

Maybe you misunderstood me, I am not the best at adding clarity to my posts

I simply mean Americans want to be excited and want to watch a good style. This is what Alan Pace said.
I am not saying Burnley are playing and American style of football, I do not even know what that would be. I just know like us, he was bored ****less but did something about it.

Simply Dyche was way to boring for these people.

Use the investment loosely please Bt when referring to Dale Stephen’s - not his fault mind either Sean must have wanted him , spent most his time injured anyway.

Dyche mentioned him in an interview I saw last week, he basically said that, with all due respect to Dale, if he was all the club could afford to buy, then we were in trouble.

I'm claiming nothing of the sort, but it's obvious to Stan's blind man on a galloping horse that Alan Pace has instituted a seminal sea-change in how Burnley Football Club operates.

I really fail to understand what it is about Alan Pace that rubs you up the wrong way.

It was Alan Pace who went out and recruited Vincent Kompany.

Yes ---and bears still crap in the woods.
Alan Pace recruited a manager who wished to try his hand in the English game and the opportunity arose to try to rebuild a relegated team who had been starved of any investment for years.
It has gone better than anyone expected and we are riding the crest of the wave -----in the Championship. We can only hope that VK sticks with us, we get promoted and can carry on the good work in the Premier League with all its corruption.
