Thread: Josh Brownhill...

    Josh Brownhill...

For me he has been the stand-out performer for us this season.

His versatility and willingness to play any midfield role and desire to "take one" for the team makes him my player of the season so far.

    Your thoughts?

This is not a slight on JB but he's not even in my top 6. Thats just testiment to how well there all playing.

Cork, Cullen, THB. Beyn. Benson, Zahoury my top 6 performers.

I forgot Muric, so JB slots in at number 8 for me

Would you honestly says hes been more influential than, pick any one from my list, lets say Cullen?
IMO to put JB as our stand out performer is also bonkers, as good as he has been, other imo have been better.
I even forgot Tella, so JB is slotting in at 9 for now. Once our Lyle Foster gets up and running he could be at 10.

    What a squad

I just think Brownhill is more potent, has more energy and is more versatile than either Corky or Cullen.

He makes the team tick, I love him.

Josh Brownhill had an excellent start to the season and with his goals and assists he kept us in it while others were trying to find their shooting boots. He is less noticeable now that goals are coming from everyone and everywhere but he is still a key member of the team providing consistency. On kudos accumulated so far he could be Player of the Season but things may change.

Maatsen best player we have and I think he has everything, but influentially Cullen is the man for men, just does his job quietly away under the radar of most, but he has an un-canny knack of being exactly where the ball is when needed, he’s a great reader of the game and has the ability to pick a pass as well

BT agree with you but I also think that Josh Cullen can also be attributed with a similar role. Both have rarely misplaced their passes
