This is the best possible news for the Labour Party. There are at least a dozen different factions amongst Conservative MPs, based upon personalities, policies and sheer personal greed. Clearly Sunak has had to yield to various factions in terms of selecting his Cabinet. The government is run by a committee which represents these factions that are at war with each other. Sunak is ostensibly the front man with no power. He always bears the mark of the last dog that pissed on him.

As for his "Integrity" opening speech outside 10 Downing Street the forced dismissals of Williamson and Zahawi plus the inevitable upcoming forced dismissals of Raab and Braverman make Sunak a laughing stock.

Obviously the Parliamentary Standards Committee is going to find Johnson guilty of a multitude of sins.

No wonder the Labour Party is silent. It has no need to say anything.
