Wolves just need to get to halftime to get collect themselves. Everyone will surely have complaints about the officiating but nothing can be done about that. Wolves can still draw this even a man down. And with how physical the game is, I’m not sure both teams finish with the same amount of players currently on the field

While this official doesn’t belong in a top flight anywhere in the world, Wolves have also been playing poorly. Nunes in particular has been loose with the ball and poor decision making in defense as well.

Sarabia just needed to attempt to play the ball and I think it’s a goal. Semedo lashes it through the box but no Wolves able to make a play on it

Multiple shot attempts in a crowded box and Traore kicks towards the goal and the Saints defender gets the ball caught in his own feet and drags it into his own goal.

A but a luck but Wolves deserve it

Great effort by Wolves to turn the match around despite the best effort of the official to give the match to the opponents. A lot of grit and fight in that one. 5 points clear of the drop at the moment

    Massive result.

    We only need ten men.

    Brilliant Wolves, well done.

Interesting comments from Ruben Neves in post match interview regarding the sending off.

Lemina was sent off because he was the third player to protest a referee decision??

A very welcome and well deserved three points on the South coast. On many previous occasions we would have folded after the red card injustice. The standard of refereeing is getting worse and with millions of pounds at stake, and peoples livelihoods at risk, it should be much better.

Unfortunately for us, crazy VAR decisions over the weekend have overshadowed the inept performance of the Aussie referee at Southampton. Webb is supposed to be calling a meeting of all the referees this week at St Georges Park, to try ang achieve consistency. Good luck with that.

We loose a player for a ***** home game against Bournemouth on Saturday as no appeal is possible. If he was booked for running to the referee in an aggressive manner, I look forward to Man United having several players sent off next game.

I was very impressed with the finish by Gomes, side footing the ball into the top half of the net, a day before his twenty second birthday. He looks a player , let us hope he can build on on this start. Costa also made an impact when he came on, he does need a goal though.

The new manager and his team certainly have had a positive impact on the club within a few weeks.
