    Not diswashers/ not washing machines.

Last time I looked, tumble dryers dont have drain pumps etc duh!
No, he's either confused, himself, or he's trying to confuse you and, it seems, succeeding. Although he does mention "tumble dryer", the model he quotes is, in fact, a washer dryer combination. Furthermore, a tumble dryer DOES have a drain pump. Why else would espares have a full page article on how to replace said pump? (source: https://www.espares.co.uk/advice/how...20drain%20pump.)

Here's some advice TTR, when you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.

Hey I'm man enough to apologise. Every tumble dryer I have worked on used a drain. Having a pump seems daft to me, but you live and learn.
Still don't believe its his problem though.

Between ewe, me and the gatepost, Tricky, I don't believe he has an E06 (or E6 according to the manufacturer's error list) problem with a Smeg WDI147D (model -1 or -2) Tumble Dryer because it's a Washer Dryer.

I'm disappointed a thread on "smeg" took this long to reach it's proper conclusion.
All fixed now, or an expensive callout?

No not fixed, never was a problem. I just made it up to see the extent that people would respond to random off topic posts considering how much support there has been for them in recent discussions..

Plus to see how many smeg jokes we could get!

I'm amazed Dave Lister didn't join in.
