The Repair of Smeg tumble dryers

I keep getting an E06 error message on my Smeg tumble dryer. It's a 6 year old WDI147D model. Does anyone think it's due to the door hinge position?

I believe you forgot the OT (or O/T) in the thread title GP. Would you like the Admin/Moderator to correct the faux pas?

Now, back to the topic in question, are you referring to the -1 or the -2 model?

For both the -1 and the -2 versions...

E6 (there is no E06) Water not pumped out. See point 4 in troubleshooting table.

4 Water not pumped out Check that: - drain hose is not kinked - drain pump not fouled.

    I do hope this helps.
