Great to see a 3 man midfield again, it works so much better for us.

More than ‘solid’, RS. Excellent at times...with better finishing we’d have seen another 5-0.
They came back into it a little after half time until the second went in but really we might have been out of sight by h/t.
Cashin back to his absolute best. Forsyth and Smith also excellent as was Harvey White who looks a real ‘find’ for the rest of this season.

Not mentioned much in the general euphoria but Wildsmith made an excellent save in each half, oh we of little faith in the man’s abilities

Also I felt a bit sorry for Roberts losing his place and not sure Sibley had a good enough game to keep it

Might have been ill with the bug?
Wildsmith has been a jewel in this team.

Agree, i like Joe Wildsmith. I know this is a lower level but gives me so ,much more confidence than any keeper since Carson.

Makes good saves, distributes well, and knows how to bloody catch a ball.

Much better than tuesday helped by a Charlton team who actually had a desire to play football and thought the ref was pretty decent too. We still werent at our best and NML looks a bit jaded.

Maybe NML wasn’t quite at his best, Sith, but I still thought he was the most threatening of the four wide players we used yesterday.

Agree about the ref...did a decent job especially given that one of his ‘assistants’ appeared to have only turned up for a free ticket.

A week’s ‘rest’ will do them all good which will be needed looking at Barnsley’s impressive result yesterday.

I had my usual effect as mentioned to my dad how good fozzy is consistently then he went and made a couple of awful passes, but him and cashin have been superb as a partnership.

I know didzy gets the plaudits, and rightly so, for his goals and all round excellent play but if I was voting now for POTY fozzy would definitely be up there.

The current front runners for me are, in no particular order...Wildsmith, Cashin, Fozzy, McGoldrick and...often unheralded Mr. Consistency...Smith.

Smith has been another revelation, I didn’t rate him in his few midfield outings but he’s been so solid at full back and his interview on RD last week suggests he plays there willingly
