    Matchday thread: Rams v Addicks

Not usually one of our more spectacular games...can’t remember many very memorable ones against Charlton.
Would normally be a good opportunity to get the run going again, but apparently there’s sickness and illness amongst the squad so maybe a draw is the best we can hope for.
Going for 1-1. Hoping for more but, depending on who and how many are ill, fearing the worst.

You really want to know? Because what I suppose was an early years sponsor always provided a fish and chips meal after each home match.
Apparently haddock was a particularly popular order but there were all cockneys so it it sounded more like ‘addick’. Strange but true.

Imo this game may/will/could prove a catalyst for the remainder of the season. Win and the play-offs still shine brightly, draw and it noticeably dims, lose and it becomes a bit Toc H lampish!
Charlton's results seem very Bouncy Castle like so they are appear to be a somewhat unpredictable opponent. In view of our limited squad injuries/illness/suspensions/loss of form are the last thing we need. Hoping for a win, expecting a draw but fearing a loss!!
    This fence is uncomfortable!!

Illness affecting players against Lincoln. If any player is feeling a tad meh pre game leave em out. Lost at theirs in the reverse fixture but should have got a draw. Here's hoping this one is one where they deserve a draw but we get the win. 1-0 will do.

You’re right there. I’ll need a stiff dose of optimism before setting out about one o’clock tomorrow!

I'm going to stay positive, home game after all. 2-0 Derby, what was the fuss all about?
