Goes without saying today was massive & impressive. Butcher was outstanding at the back, as was Obika a huge improvement on his first two performances. Well done to all, a great weekend. Carry that level of performance in to the next two games and our season turns around dramatically. Kettlewell has done enough to get the shout until the end of the season and then we can reassess our options. No point in making a quick rash decision now.

I've been informed SK will be offered (and will accept), the role of Interim Manager for MFC until the end of this season. Offer comes with a cuppla caveats:
    - stay in the League and you're under consideration for the role permanently
    - make top 6 ... you've got the job !
    End.

Wouldn't be unhappy with that but with my caveat we do need to start preparing for next season, tricky as it is.

The top six chat is ambitious/delusional, winder which side suggested that!

Just watched the highlights, couple of turning points, but looked a cracking match. KvV denied a stonewall pen in 1st half, and if Spittal hadn't scored, it was a pen for holding back Cornelius. But great win, anyway. Let's see if they can maintain it with two important trips to come.

Our goal difference is also worth an extra point.

Two or three points from the next two and we're well placed to survive but I suspect we'll struggle on Saturday at least.
