Not really. Bad luck or poor recruitment?
Morrison injured. Leo injured, bailey knocked out. Hugill chest infection. Quina injured and injured again,. Coventry getting better but not upto speed. Fosu. Flits in and out of games. Some very good crosses then runs down blind alleys.

I notice nobody seems to blame the training methods for all the injuries anymore.

Losing Dan was the major blow because we now have no-one who can see openings like he could.
Coventry may eventually bring something to the party but he has a long way to go in my opinion and I don't think he'll ever fill Dan's shoes.
Unfortunately we don't know what Quina might have offered and I have a niggling feeling we never will because his injury sounds long term.
Which leaves us with what we've got, unless of course Ben Wiles makes a miraculous recovery some time early next month.......very unlikely.

Will we carry on from Saturday - predictable - lumping the ball into Jordan Hugill hoping he wins it in the air & flicks it onto ' the invisible man'.

Which Rotherham United team is going to turn up tonight.?
One that starts on the front foot & doesn't let Sunderland get the better of us.

Yes, that seems to have been bypassed by the usual suspects. UTM

Not a chance he will pick this line-up.
Forget the wide players - it didn't work Saturday & is becoming predictable.
Play Fosu central (free role ) behind Hugill & Washington.

    4-3-1-2

    Viktor

    Peltier
    Hall
    Humphreys
    Leo

    Odoffin
    Coventry
    Rathbone

    Fosu (central)

    Hugill
    Washington

    Bench :-
    Vickers
    Wood
    Lindsay
    Bramall
    Harding
    Ogbene
    Eaves

    In the stand -
    Wright
    Kioso
    Ferguson
    Kelly
Quina (hope he's back in 2 weeks)
    Wiles (April hopefully)

A very tough game against a team 6th in the league, they have pace up front in the leeds lad. We really need to get a win and if Ollie doesn't play we will struggle. we will need players to really be at it and able to lift their game and a bit of luck as well. here is hoping for the right result. Premier League referee then.
I hope he remembers we don't have VAR.
Not been in the middle for us for quite some time. - shall we expect around 4 yellow cards in the game.?
Personally think this referee will have a reasonable game - law of averages says we're due a decent ref - here's hoping he does.

If Rathbone is unavailable it's an ideal opportunity for someone to come in & show what they're capable of.
If he is missing they just have to get on with it & play to their best ability.
1-0 millers win - penalty scored by Jordan Hugill.

Well at least it's not going to be too cold.
