My mrs leaves the lights on in the cats room until about 11pm. Can understand why dogs are a man’s best friend! Dislike cats though and banned from the bedrooms!

Cats can live longer than dogs Lloyd.

Apart from having one eye removed s year ago she extremely robust and a real character, very streetwise as well.

I knew a cat locally that was 28, I’d like to think mine had another 4 or 5 good years left in her, I never let my cats suffer, if they start to fail badly I take them for the needle.

Glad your dog is okay, I think it’s a good idea to have a “spare” once a pet starts getting really old, I’ve already started thinking about bringing a youngster in.

Cats don’t need a light on, they can see better in the dark than we can in daylight FFS.

A cat’s eyesight is six times better than a humans so you’re just wasting electricity.

I like cats, far more independent.

My eldest lives her dogs but always says what a time consuming pet a dog is.

I also couldn’t go around picking up dog s h I t, I think it’s the most abhorrent of tasks.

Our cats are indoor f uckers though so will live longer than outdoor ones. Cat litter costs a fortune and I certainly don’t go near them.

Don’t like cats - horrible little f uckers and makes my skin crawl to see them in other houses on kitchen work tops or on a bed!

In terms of s hit - saw plenty of it last night at Watford! Dike runs like he’s s hit himself!!

Heaven forbid that you have a black dog; it’s a ‘dog of colour’!

    Thanks for all your reply's.
Bella is much better than the last opp, she's had her dinner and is fast asleep .
Her leg has been shaved and looks like a turkey leg , they don't cover the wound now so she has to wear one of those trumpet to stop her messing with it.
