It might be just me, but I really struggle to understand anything he says. It makes it very difficult to assess his opinion or ideas. Obviously not his fault but does anyone else have the same problem?

Deffo not as straightforward as Houllier by comparison but I'm sure the players have got used to him by now.

On another note, great to have a new thread, it's been ages - is no-one bothered anymore, a consequence of our season fizzling out?

What struck me recently (and got right under my skin) is that I struggle to recall more than a few games in recent seasons where we have been dominant and given a complete performance. Brentford 4-0, Saints 4-0, Spurs away this season & United at home, Leeds & Brighton away last season, and the 7-2.

Massive task for our Unai!

I’m not convinced the players have got used to him. They clearly don’t understand a word he says either!

I presume there has been no new threads recently because there are no words to describe our recent performances. Dire about sums it up. Like you say WCV, even our wins have been less than convincing. Hopefully we can hobble on to the end of the season unscathed ready for a big summer transfer fest. Our defence needs major surgery.

Time, mate. I ain't 'bizzy Lizzy' or anything, but with so much going on with friends and family, atm, I drifted into wearing my social skills out, talking to folk, face to face .

This site remains my primary social media output, despite the annoying official 'footymad threads'.

As for the season, overall, not too shabby, is it?
