    Tasty stuff, That piano on the Elmore James is dripping the blues,

    Bit self indulgent this een. Possibly my favourite ever guitar solo.

    It was credited to Bunky Oden (sp?) and possibly a co-writer on the Tons Of Sobs label, as I recall. I think Koss hit peak Koss tone and emotion-wise in the short solo on Oh I Wept. Or the full-length The Stealer.

    Edit: Spotify says that it’s James B Oden’s song. I’ll check the second pressing vinyl later when I dare to open the press in the tiny ‘spare’ room.

    I think i’m getting confused with Bunky Odom who was an Allmans pal. Probably one of those rough-as-a-badger’s-erse roadies pictured on the back of the Fillmore East album.

    Actually I was supposed to be meeting her next month but it's been moved.

    Anyway, wait until you hear it a few times, it's better than The Clash.
