Routine win...nothing more...nothing less, but another three points.
Crowd getting negatively restless as RS suggested might be the case.
Shrewsbury will be a bigger test I suspect.

They played the game for 15 minutes and kept us out. That buoyed them into major negative mode and the 5hithousery started. Stealing 15 yards at throws, taking forever at throws, keeper keeping the ball for getting on half a minute. Fair play to the ref, she soon cottoned on and started pointing at her watch and waving get on with it and sending them yards back. Some of their tackling borderline wrong. A few yellows. Can't complain about the ones we got. Jackson lucky to stay on with his handball when he "fell". More of theirs might have had yellows too.

Not a perfect ref but none are. She was certainly in the top few we've had this season. No players from either side getting "in her face" or surrounding her. Having a female ref seems to have a calming effect on testosterone.

Wildsmith didn't have a single shot to save
    Smith had a good un
Foz and Cash were everything they weren't at Bahnzleh
Roberts is a good player who doesn't let us down. What frustrates me is that he doesn't seem to realise that he'd be so much better if he'd only use his right foot more. I lost count of the number of times yesterday, when being pressed, there was a great pass, simple and effective to a midfielder which would have opened everything up, using his right. But, no, he chose the left footed back pass and gave them time to reset. He can use the right but doesn't seem to have confidence in it.
White, good 1st half quieter 2nd. Got proper "stuck in" a few times, good to see.
    Hourihane good
Dobbs, a goal, some great runs, some decent defensive work. As other have said, at times infuriating but he's learning the trade so I'll continue to mention the odd thing but not have a down on the lad
    Knight was Knight
NML had a very good game
Didzy a goal and an assist. Good all round game. Was he off on 34 minutes. If he was it's extremely tight

    Good summary.

I’ve just seen the second goal from the camera in the bottom corner. I’d wondered how McGoldrick got past his man, that angle shows the quite deliberate and feintest of touches to slip it past the defender - what a player, at times it’s just a privilege to be watching him do his stuff

Always wondered the same with female refs, are players less likely to be in their faces, mouthing off etc?. Is this sort of wrong? In a way players should treat male and female refs the same but it does make you wonder if a sense of being a gentleman comes into play. Maybe we should have Fernanda Colombo come over and ref a few games, can imagine the impact that might have on some of the players (and fans probably)

Can you imagine what a player's Mam/sister/wife/GF would say to him if they saw him doing to a female ref what they, routinely, do to a male ref? The "press" would certainly lambast them for it.

Fernanda would be more than welcome IMO.

Yeah imagine if Roy Keane and his Utd team had behaved like they did with Andy D'Urso with a female ref.
