Perhaps the authorities should consider a large points deduction that places them adrift at the bottom of the league

They’ll come out with some bull as QPR is a Landan club so untouchable enough so as not to damage their standing too badly.

Good question Brin. QPR won promotion to the prem in 2014 on the back of overspending £65 mill on wages and incurring a £70 mill loss . A promotion they would never have won without financial cheating. They were due a fine of nearly £60 mill. This was not an arbitrary figure but calculated exactly in accordance with very clear ffp rules at the time. But - they were now in the prem and efl couldn't touch them. Extra income from their spell in the prem was £140 mill
. They got relegated and efl tried to collect the £60 mill. Several appeals later (QPR lost them all) and the efl caved.
£42 mill "fine" except it wasn't. £22 to be paid by the shareholders TO THE CLUB to pay off loans. £17 mill fine and £3 mill costs to be paid to the efl over 10 years.

And now - another £24 million loss and debts of £90 million. They've learnt their lesson then?

If Birmingham, Reading, QPR...had come in with a bid of 3M for Ogbene would you have liked us to say "No thanks, we know you can't afford it"?

I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have said 'No' CAM, but it's all speculation because non of them have any money to bid for anyone. UTM

That would not stop them buying a player, but then they would have reneged on the payments ?
