Thanks lads for going for goals and not taking the extra touch.

Great blocks in defence as well.

All in all, - a really good display. (Frustrating for Paton though yesterday, - which probably resulted in his yellow card)
Improved fitness levels certainly helped towards the end of the game which we probably would not have won under WG. The keeper also exhibited a few traits from good diving saves to rather bizarre punching when it seemed far easier to catch the ball plus some of his kicking off the floor was downright poor. Another eccentric keeper. Paton spent most of the time with his back to goal being continually roughly manhandled but still managed to link up the play.

Some good points Spike, - which all contributed to a great 3 points. If you look at the stats, - Queens were well behind Airdrie in terms of shots on goal, - which confirmed my suspicions on Saturday, - that despite losing two daft goals, - we could easily have had a 'Liverpool' done to us like Man U received yesterday.

A lot to be grateful for, - and now we need to start honing that fitness, - sharpness and eagerness to hit the target, - and we'll be there or there abouts come the play-offs.

The fans deserve a little bit of excitement.
Nice to see 3 different goal scorers on Saturday but Paton looked so isolated up front and his frustration finally boiled over and he was booked.
Another goal for young Gibbo which was pleasing but a word of warning regarding his future at Palmerston. His ‘agent’ has been going around several clubs making them aware of his talent and no doubt the pay structure he’s on.
It’s actually quite embarrassing the pay these youngsters or on maybe even illegal what with the minimum wage law being in place these days.

You can almost guarantee Wullie will get his son a move away from Palmerston especially after his “mutual consent sacking “

So you are saying young Gibbo's agent is actually his old man Wullie Gibson - might be common knowledge but I certainly didn't know that tbh.
