    Certainly agree with you there
Cathro, Maloney, Glass all tried to more expansive and play the ball on the ground, however the physical, athletic and organised teams rather than technically adept players trying to play free football never win in our league for the teams that can’t spunk £2m plus on a player.

Fear of losing is bigger than trying to win in style

Has everyone forgotten about the 10 games in a row without scoring?

He’s been a very bad manager for a very long time now

Has everyone also forgotten about his "soul searching" time out as he was showing his pants to the huns.
Right then he should have been shown the door, we should not be even thinking about bringing him back.

Out of the bookies top three then if that is what we have as a shortlist then it would have to be Lennon

He rejected the Huns (and also rejected Sunderland btw). How you can spin that into ‘showing his pants to the Huns’ is unbelievable.

McInnes built something over 8 years that had us consistently qualifying for Europe, a trophy, multiple trips to Hampden and 4 second place finishes. If someone offered you a manager for the next 8 years to have exactly the above you’d snatch their hand off. Stop living in the 80’s.

From beating Dundee 7-0 and Rijeka 3-0, to Jim Goodwin getting beat 6-0 and 5-0 in Edinburgh, to say ‘just because Goodwin is no better’ is the understatement of the century. We are so far behind from where we were with McInnes.

Even the best managers go through spells where they can’t score, or can’t win. Scoring 1 in 9 was not acceptable, but it wasn’t sackable. I’d choose that over the Hearts, Darvel, Hibs run any day.

I’d rather say ‘bored with your glaringly-obvious and stultifyingly-boring attempts to get a reaction’, rather than ‘a wee bit sensitive’.

    Infantile.

He should have left in 2017.
After 2017 it was diminishing returns from him over the next few seasons.

He didn't leave a legacy behind either after 8 years and during a lot of his tenure the league was missing the likes of Hearts, Hibs and the zombie club were clawing their way back.

I am sure we will have a nugget somewhere in our support who still thinks we have been shyte since Calderwood was sacked, so expect McInnes to still have his followers.

Please somebody just make it stop though.
