Langstaff named in England C squad

Happy for him but hoping he doesn't make the 16 man squad especially with Scott being injured we can do without overworking Macca.

"Each of the Vanarama National League clubs have one player named in the initial 25-man selection, with Dalby representing Wrexham alongside the likes of Notts County's Macaulay Langstaff and Woking's James Daly.

The fixture takes place at Altrincham's J.Davidson Stadium, with the final 16-man squad to be confirmed following next weekend's league fixtures"

    Why isnt Mullin in ?

I know they will say he might be Welsh but he was born in England.

This game is a complete waste of time.

When I managed the rep side in the NSL and sent players I always used it as a tapping up exercise.
Let’s hope Macca does for other teams players for next season 😜🤣

Using my crystal ball I see that Langstaff is unfortunately and conveniently is carrying a minor injured just prior to this announced fixture and needs rest.

I agree, it'll be watched by a handful of people, mainly scouts and lead to possible injuries. Both we can well and do without.

Well Done to him happy for the lad and deserves it.
Only 1 player from Notts though is scandalous, stats on whyscout show Matty Palmer as the most consistent and outstanding Midfield player this season in non league so surprised him and Cameron aren’t involved.

There's a criteria been set to bring the squad age down to as low as possible and try and select a player from every club.

We need no further proof of that than the fact that it's being played at Altrincham
